Fall 2020 PDA Theme and Format:

For Fall 2020 PDA, we will be promoting a theme of understanding the health, environmental, and economic crisis that we have been experiencing in order to promote and develop resiliency and intervention plans to support ourselves and our students. The morning plenary session will include a panel of local experts from public health, emergency preparedness and economic development groups who will share their insights on how we can prepare ourselves for the health and environmental crises that we have experienced recently, including COVID-19, along with the potential of wildfires, public safety power shutoffs and air quality issues.

The Professional Development Committee is working to adapt to the ongoing changes due to the effects of COVID-19. Please submit proposals that you could present by Zoom. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah HopkinsLauralyn Larsen or Tara Jacobson.

The Professional Development Committee (PDC) encourages all employees to consider submitting a proposal for a Fall 2020 PDA day workshop. If you feel there is a need that is not being met at PDA day, please consider submitting a proposal or asking a colleague in that area of expertise to submit.
