Welcome to Fall 2024 Professional Development Activities Day!
SRJC is in the midst of a cultural shift to reimagine excellence and belonging so all members of our community can actively participate in an inclusive community.
With the support of the Board of Trustees, SRJC will focus on four priorities for 2024-2025: Enrollment Recovery & Growth, Fiscal Sustainability, Institutional Effectiveness, and Institutional and Workplace Culture Initiatives. We must understand who our students are, what our community’s workforce needs are, and how we prepare students for the educational and post-collegiate journey. It will take our collective energy to envision and implement the necessary actions so we can realize our values for the District and community. I invite all our colleagues to choose to learn, dialogue, participate, and help to create a more inclusive and equitable college community.
I am grateful to the Professional Development committee for organizing these workshops and sessions aimed at sparking our creativity, strengthening our commitment, and fostering inclusion and equity.
Join me for a day filled with inspirational and informative discussions focused on student-centered practices, student success, and collegial camaraderie.
